| Any feedback on the 7 night Western cruise? I am planning a cruise for August 2009 and I would love some feedback. I've mastered the 3 night cruise and want to go for the 7 night one! I haven't seen many reviews on this cruise. Help Please!! Thanks

| We did a Western Caribbean cruise in January 2007 after having done two 3-night cruises in previous years. We loved it so much we booked an Eastern Caribbean cruise for January 2008 while onboard. Having days at sea makes the voyage much more relaxing and/or interesting (depending on your preferences) than the hectic "board/Nassau/Castaway Cay/disembark" pace of the 3-night cruise. We really liked walking around Key West. Grand Cayman was beautiful. We were underwhelmed by Cozumel, but that could be because we just wandered near the port and didn't go on any excursions. Think of everything that was going on onboard ship during the 3-night cruise, and imagine even more activities per day, spread out over a week (including the chance to do brunch and high tea at Palo). If that sounds appealing to you, then a 7-night cruise is definitely a good choice. We enjoyed the Eastern equally well -- the ports weren't as varied, but there was an extra day at sea and all its attendant activities. So if the dates on the Western work best, that's a fine choice. Happy planning, Melissa

| We're booked for a Western cruise in August 2009 as well (the 22nd). I can't wait. We did the 4-night, and it was just too short. I'm really looking forward to spending more time on the ship

| We did the Western last month and really enjoyed it. Key West is good for some "walk around" time. Grand Cayman was great - we didnt do any excursions, just went on our own to Royal Palms for some sun and swimming. Then did some shopping near the port. We really liked Grand Cayman and would have liked more time there. Cozumel was fun to walk around the shops - something different. We did the Dolphinaris excursion. We all had a good time swimming with the dolphins. I would do the Western again - but have signed up to do an Eastern next year for something different |

| Just DH and I on 7 night Western in March. (see link in siggie) We loved Key West. Enjoyed Grand Caymen. so-so on Cozumel. Were in on Castaway Cay. We did not do any excursions at all, just walked around the towns doing some souvenir shopping and people watching.
