So our final payment is due on the 23rd of Sept. However I have used our first set of refund checks to take care of other things like extra books and power bill and insurance and stuff, so I was expecting to get our 2nd refund checks around Sept 1st, but they tell us it my be the 30th. So I called DCL to request a 7 day extension for the final payment....NO, they can't do that. so now I just have to hope and pray the check comes before the 23rd. I'd hate to have pay all we have only to loose tis at the last moment.

You can probably get another temporary set from your bank. They won't have any of your information on them. My credit union will generate a set of 10 checks for free. Another option would be to get a cashier's check from the bank and use that.

I dont have a bank accnt. When I say waiting on checks, I mean a refund check from school.

Well, maybe some good news. I checked my accnt from the school and it shows that the checks should be mailed out this coming week, so hopefully I will have it in time.
