| Yes- we made our arrangements through Disney because we are flying back during the big Thanksgiving weekend and were worried about getting the right reservations with all the flight restrictions these days. They gave us the information about 70 days out. I understand that they wait until past the 75 day cancellation to avoid having to cancel flight arrangements, too. We are flying out the Friday before because we were worried if the flight on Saturday was cancelled we wouldn't make it to the ship on time. DCL booked us on a morning flight and changed it to a 5pm flight which allows our DDs (10 and 13) to go to school on Friday and get us to Orlando around 8pm. | One thing to keep in mind is that some (most except Southwest that I know of) airlines have agreements with DCL so you check your bags at your cabin and don't have to touch them until you get to your final destination. This includes customs etc.... So you might want to make sure when you book airline reservations for the return from the ship that they have this service available.... it is soooooooooo nice..... just adds that little extra Disney touch to the end!! Plus what a pain to have to drag those bags through customs and then at the airport!! |
