What to do in Nassau

with my 83 year old dad?
We'll be taking our dad on his first cruise. He is soo excited to go! Unfortunately it won't be Disney. Due to the economic times, some members of the family just couldn't afford it. So we are booked on the Carnival Sensation (hope I won't be too disappointed) and going with the attitude that since we are all together we'll have a great time no matter what. It will be hard to look across and see the Wonder and wish we were there instead.
Anyway, my dad is a young 83 but definitely not a beach person. I've been to Nassau before and not impressed with the place.
We're thinking of taking him on a tour of Atlantis to see the aquarium and the buildings or doing the Ardastra Garden tours. Which is better?
Any suggestions would be helpful. Our trip is in one month!

I would suggest one of the city tours.

There's a lot of walking on the Atlantis tour, and since there's a casino on the Carnival ship, he probably wouldn't have to scratch any gambling itch he might have at the Atlantis Casino. I'd go with a city tour that includes the Ardastra Gardens, and perhaps a visit to Fort Fincastle/Queens Stairs.
