| There's a pretty wide range. The folks who brought formal wear often use that on semi-formal night, too. Others dress fairly casually, and some are in the middle. One consideration is whether you want the ship's photographers to take formal pictures, and how you want to be dressed for those photos.

| i am wearing a long dress on semi-formal night, and i think my mom is too, in the past i've also worn longer or floor length dresses on semi-formal night, but my family really like to dress up so that's probably why. my dad always says it's better to be more dressed up than everyone else than to not be dressed up enough, or something like that. |

| I usually wear some form of little black dress and DH wears jacket and tie, but not a suit. ![]()

| I agree that we saw a variety of different outfits. I went for a nice pair of black pants and a smart top on semi-formal night.
