Need Help Picking Excursion

Hello
This will be our first cruise in January. Cruising on the 15th for 3 nights on the Wonder. We are having a hard time picking which excursions we would like to do in Nassau. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

We are cruising on the Wonder in December. It will be DDs (8&10) first cruise. I have changed my mind several times about Nassau. Right now, I have decided on maybe a walking tour on our own or a quick shopping trip. However if DDs decide they would rather stay onboard and play at the pool, that will be fine with me.

The Atlantis water adventure/park sounds like lots of fun. I think I would try it if we were going during a warmer month. I visited the Atlantis resort on a previous cruise. So, it is not a big deal to me if we skip it this time.

We are also going on a 3 night cruise. There are so many great activities to choose for whether onboard or in port. My strategy right now is to identify the things we can not miss and leave the rest to another time. Enjoy your planning.

You can do the self guided walking tour SouthernCruising.com
You will climb from the port to the top of the city.

and if you have kids, stop at the Pirates of Nassau museum ($12 adult $6 kids)

I'm going the week after you (Jan. 22nd) with a friend of mine, and we're thinking of doing the dolphin encounter. Looks like a lot of fun!

We enjoyed walking around Nassau to see Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Steps but had a hard time finding somewhere to eat. Straw Market can be overwhelming if there are too many crusie ships in port. You can pick up a map in the port mall and easily find your way to the sites. I recommend eating on board.

Thanks everyone!! I had planned on the dolphin encounter but I am afraid we will regret giving up all that time away from ship. Thought we would save the dolpin encounter for later in life and make it a swim with the kids are older!! But thanks again. You all offer the best advice!!
