I have a 4 year old prince so I can't help much but I always love seeing the little girls dressed in their princess dresses for dinner! They look so sweet and they always get so much attention from the "actual" princesses.

My 5 year old daughter enjoyed her first Disney Cruise last November. She enjoyed Oceanears Club but only when she was with me. There is a little indoor playground with soft sided slides that she really enjoyed. There were also age appropriate games on the computer that she enjoyed. She really enjoyed the pools more than Oceanears Club though, but I guess every child is different.

DS, who was almost 4, enjoyed dress up with his sister (we have a picture of him as Captain Hook and her as Alice in Wonderland) and the programs they did - like making butter, character visits, etc. They really do a good job of keeping the kids occupied.

Which sailing are you on in Jan?

My family will be on the Jan. 10th Western and I have a four year old daughter too. What trip are you on? It looks like there is a lot of fun stuff for the kids to do. I hope my daughter likes it too. I can only forsee her wanting to leave if she doesn't feel like she can make a little friend while she is there. If someone is mean to her (i.e. think perhaps an older child playing chase and pretending to be a monster or something), I think she will want to stay even though she will be alone. Her brother and sister are much older. I was a little worried about her meeting Captain Hook -- she is wary of the scarier characters.

We will be sailing Jan 18th Disney Wonder. Hope we will both cross paths with other families with kids that age. Have a great trip! We tend to talk alot about the villians in our house (as the big people here are fans) this warms my daughter up to the idea of meeting these infamous characters!
