| While in Nassau Good morning everyone! I Have questions... While in Nassau, any (cheap) suggestions for activities? Any points of interest that are a "must see"? Is local transportation costly?

| We have a walking tour in our DCL guidebook - very cheap. Even if you don't have the book, there are free maps handed out in the terminal building that show a variety of points of interest. For free sights, I like to head up to Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Stairs (they're next to each other). Also, check at the information desk in the terminal. They sometimes offer free, guided walking tours. While Ardastra Gardens isn't free, and just far enough from the pier that a ride is a good idea. Folks who go there generally enjoy it. Taxis aren't particularly expensive, though you will generally pay per-person, rather than per-vehicle. The local jitney buses are very inexpensive, but since they're independently operated and mostly serve the local population, a lot of them are headed to residential neighborhoods, rather than tourist destinations.
