Guaranteed Stateroom

We booked a Guarenteed Stateroom for our trip in November and now it is killing me to find out what room we are in. Anyone who has done this before when did you find out what stateroom you are in? The suspense is killing me!!!!!!

Usually you will find out your stateroom when you get your cruise documents 2-3 weeks before the cruise. You can always keep checking your reservation online because you never know when it will get assigned.

They usually assign GTYs about 5-6 weeks out, unless bookings are "low", in which case they may wait later. But timing is always variable. It used to be that you might not find out until you check in, but that's changed in the last few years. Not to get your hopes up, but it's been my experience that the closer to the sailing date it is before they assign you a room, the better the category is. Although this usually means the location may not be as desirable.

The longer you go without a stateroom assignment, the better of your chances of an upgrade. It's tough to wait but well worth it!
