| Double Dipping I was wondering if anyone had heard of the day at sea on the Wonder being changed to a 2 day stay at CC? I have a friend who just got cruise docs and it has 2 back to back days at CC instead of the sea day. I am sailing in Dec and that would make my day. Maybe a gas savings? Lynda

| There's definitely no word of an across-the-board change - these boards would be shaking with the news. I did find a thread about this on DIS. It's happening on some October itineraries, but not others. Nobody's getting a solid explanation for the change. Maybe it's a fuel saving thing, but there are other costs to docking at CC, including port charges paid to the government of Bahamas, and various day workers who come over from nearby islands. I'm not sure if DCL would necessarily come out ahead one way vs. the other.

| I knew that there were still some itineraries that Disney was offering as Double Dip into the fall (and even next fall). Perhaps the friend didn't realize it was a DD when it was booked? Although - what a great surprise to get!!!
