| Anyone Cruise in February??? Has anyone gone on a Disney cruise in February? My husband and I are booked for the February 20th, 2010 Western Caribbean cruise. I'm putting together a packing spreadsheet, but didn't know about the weather. Is it warm enough to wear shorts on the day of departure? Also, what about a night at sea? Just trying to figure about what type of dresses and shoes to bring. Thanks!!! Michele |

| Hi Michelle We've cruised once in February -President's week, and it was really cool most days, and always very windy up on deck. It was sunny, but still we never wore a bathing suit except for the day at CC, which was also very cool, but by then we figured it was the last day and we were heading back to snow, so what the heck! We were really hoping for a warm weather escape from our LONG winter, so we decided that we would go in April from that point on. The cruise staff kept saying that was was "unusual" and the previous week had been great. Didn't help us much! All that being said, I have read countless trip reports since then of warm and sunny February cruises, so we're giving it another shot this year. We're hoping for the best!

| I'm stoked that we've just booked our first Disney cruise - have been trying to nudge DH in the DCL direction for years but he wasn't interested. So I sold him on a three day at the end of February with the kids sail free promo. So YAY! Me, DH, DS (14) and DD(6) are set to sail on the Wonder. Maybe when he sees how fabulous DCL is - he'll consider doing a longer cruise...pixie dust please! But for now, I'm content with my 3-day Wonder. Just received my DCL Passporter today too!!! ![]() |
