No Longer Can Transfer Reservation?

I was just talking to a Costco TA tonight checking out prices for future cruises when she asked me how I reserve my cruises. I told her that I always rebook onboard to get the discount and the OBC and then trasfer it to Costco to get the gift card. She then told me that as of a month ago, they no longer can accept a transferred booking! She said she doesn't know why.
Has anyone else heard this? Is it all TAs or just Costco Travel?
I am really bummed.

Disney just recently changed their commissions rules. When you transfer a reservation instead of giving it to a TA right away (which you can still do onboard if you tell them as you reserve it) the comission is almost cut in half. Therefore Costco is not making the money on the cruise that they would have if you booked it through them. So if they offer you the onboard credit they typically do they are most likely losing money. Does that make sense?

You can still transfer your reservations to TA's though.

After I saw this, I called Costco Travel. You CAN transfer, but you won't get any goodies.
for all the posts on this.
I emailed my TA (since I plan on re-booking onboard), and got my instructions so I get the best deal and my TA gets a full commission.

So there is no point in transferring to Costco even onboard because you no longer get the gift card.

I'd ask them. I get full credit when my clients book onboard and give them my info. So I suspect that would work.
