Castaway club opening time on 1st night of cruise About This Page:

Hello - we're sailing on the wonder at the end of the month (feb) and am getting conflicting info on the time that the castaway club opens (DS 4 and DD7).

We'd like to go to Palo for my birthday that night and wanted to be there when the sun set. I looked at the navigators online (pretty recent - november 2008) and it *looks* like it opens at 6. But talking to a DCL rep - it appears they don't open up 'officially' until 7. But they could open earlier.

Anyone try to bring their kids to the clubs early that first night - and what did you experience?

I know my DD went to the club our first night, but it was after we ate dinner, so it had to be somewhere around 7. I think we went to the game show first.

On the Navigators we have from our cruise in July indicate the Oceaneer Club / Lab opens at 6 PM, so maybe that is the regular time for them...

Duh - just realized i meant oceaneer club, not castaway club... It sounds like everyone knew what i meant....

I was wondering when they made a club for adults oh wait thats on deck 3 foward LOL!

But i want to say it was in the evening the first day! 6 sounds right to me.

We just got off the Wonder and I do believe that the club opened at 6. I know that it was for sure during dinner because we sent the kids to it before dessert.
