| I had a bad feeling this would happen…well it did. I’ve been planning for almost a year and a half. I booked our cruise, bought cruise clothes, new suitcases, etc. and then it happened. Maybe I shouldn’t be such an optimist because that just makes the let down greater. They claimed that one out of ten families would be affected by the auto industry fiasco and we became one of them. I should have prepared myself when DH went from 56 hours a week, down to 45 and the last 18 weeks down to 37.5. He still has a job and we're so grateful for that and we’re managing but now his company wants to save more money by having their employees take extra long weekends, filling the void with personal days and now vacation days. Poor DH has used all his personal days and we’re now using vacation days. No time to think about our 20th anniversary cruise, it’s in the past now and DH wants me to think ahead because he says things will get better. So I’ve canceled our cruise and put all my Disney planning aside. I’m a little bummed and I admit a little hesitant to think ahead but I know when those 2010 rates come out I’ll be right there, dreaming and hoping for a 21st anniversary cruise and posting my fellow PassPorters all about it. Thanks so much for letting me vent. I feel better already.

| I too am sorry to hear about you having to cancell your Disney cruise but I believe that out of something negative comes a better positive then we are able to see at the that time. So maybe there is a very good reason that you may need to take your cruise on your 21st instead. Think of it this way - When you have lemons, make lemonade - its sweeter. Good luck to you both and Happy 20th Anniversary!! Catherine

| So sorry.... I literally know just how you feel, because we had to cancel our 10 year anniversary cruise for next year, because we got fired due to downsizing! Try to remain optomistic, and I hope that both of us will get to do a cruise when things get better. |

| So sorry you had to cancel your cruise. Think of it as putting it on the back burner - you have everything in place and ready to go for the next time.
