| Tracking the Disney Cruises - neat web site While surfing through another web site, I found a URL for Live Ships Map - AIS - Vessel Traffic and Positions, that tracks ships, including cruise lines. While it's not world wide, it does show the Cape Canaveral port. Here's the URL for that: Live Ships Map - AIS - Vessel Traffic and Positions Right now (Sat morning 0720) it's showing the Disney Magic and Carnival Glory in port, and you can click on a ship and see it's track, etc. I can't seem to find the Wonder, though. |

| Thanks for the link. I saw the Magic and 2 Carnival ships in port...I wonder if it really is live - I guess a peek at about 5:00 this afternoon will tell us that!

| Well, it's 5:15 pm, and the data is showing the Magic coming out in the channel, which was confirmed via web-cam. Mousing-over said the data was about 2 - 4 minutes old. It looks like it just tracks ships near ports, and not near the Bahamas, so that's why we can't find the Wonder, which should be at Castaway Cay. |

| That is pretty cool, only I think that the images are from this morning, the same truck is still crossing the street. But I have been checking it all day, too much fun!

| If you read the FAQ, it's only good for usually 15-20 miles from the receivers, which are deployed on a volunteer basis (typically). It doesn't look like there's a receiver in the Bahamas, so once it gets away from the Florida coast, there'll be no tracking. |
