Refillable Beer Mug

I bought one of these last summer and was planning on bringing it again this summer. Does anyone know if the design has changed or is it still the standard mug with the DCL logo on it?

Do you remember what the cost of that was?

I'm considering it this year.

According to the Passporter's Disney Cruise Line and Its Ports of Call
"Check the lounges for the 22 oz refillable glass beer mug. Cost is $15 for the mug. Get 22 oz refills at the 16 oz price. It takes 10 to 12 refills to break even. "

If its glass I wouldn't want to risk it breaking in my bag on the trip down to the ship, and have glass in my bag when I arrived. So if it were me I'd just buy a new one when I got on board so either I had a new design or a pair to use at home. If you bring the old one make sure its packed securely so you don't risk having broken glass in your suitcase.

S, 7 day cruise, 2 beers a day and I've done it.

I think I can handle 2 beers a day!

I have been taking mine back with me each year... with no problems at all!! It is all about how you pack ... I travel all over the world and bring back wine/beer from most locations and have never had anything break... just use some common sense... like putting it into the center, and using those straps that are in your suitcase to hold things in place..... go and take it and get your money out of it!!

I actually planned on having it in my carryon bag and pack it safely. That way I can get a beer sometime shortly after 12:00 or so, as soon as we board. Thanks.

DH and I bought the mugs. They are BIG. I like beer, but I could hardly finish the glassful. I did not break even on the purchase, but we have two nice souvenirs!
