| Are shore excursion age restrictions firm? We are traveling with an 11, 13 and 3 year old. Would like to book excursions that are for 5 years old and up. Are the age restrictions suggestions or firm? We are used to juggling the toddler on outings. My husband and I take turns-- kind of like the baby swap on rides at Disney. For example, in Cozumel if we booked the Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel and Beach Party could my husband and I take turns snorkeling while the other played in the water with the 3 year old (with a life vest on, of course)? Thanks!

| They ages were firm on the DCL Mediterranean cruise. I wanted to do the Pompeii hiking trip up the mountain but DD was only 7. Even though she was an experienced hiker (she hiked down and up the Grand Canyon with us) they wouldn't relax the age restriction which I believe was age 10.

| Darn, I was afraid of that. Its too bad. Our daughter goes every where with us and is a pretty traveled 3 year old so I'm sure she would do fine despite her age. Here's hoping she really enjoys the kids club Thanks for the info.

| Yes, they are firm, since they have everyone's ages in your reservation. You won't be able to book and excursion for the 3 YO with a minimum age of 5, as it won't even show up as an option on the screen! ![]()
