| We just got upgraded to a room with a verandah ![]() ![]() ![]() I was trying to figure out if we would be able to see the terminal and "land" side as we leave the port. Our new room number is 7104 |

| You're on the port side, but the terminal will be on the starboard side. You'll still have a nice view of Cape Canaveral (I happen to think that side's more interesting anyway). Meantime, everyone needs an excuse to head upstairs for the sailaway party, right?

| There is something to see on both sides, you just can't go wrong. We went up to Deck 10 for the Sail Away party, but as soon as we began pulling away we headed back down to our verandah and enjoyed the view there!

| Since our side faced the terminal, I guess that meant we were on the starboard side? I still haven't gotten that straight. It took me four days before I figured out Forward and Aft and by then we had to leave! |

| We were on Port side (left). I actually preferred that side, as it was the shady side and I could sit out on the nice, cool verandah at PC while they were loading the ship!

| Still confused about the starboard stuff as well. I am embarrassed to admit I am a flight attendant. I get foward and aft. But in airline lingo there is the capt. side and 1st officer side. none of this starboard stuff. I can get forward and aft (but it took me a day or so as well) Can someone explain starboard? |
