| How do you book onboard for friends & family? Hello, I have a friend going on DCL Nov 2009. She is willing to book us while she is onboard for a cruise we want to take Jan. 2011 so that we can get the discount (?10%) + $200 stateroom credit for 7-day cruise for booking onboard. The Mousesavers.com website indicates that you can do this: "You can book as many staterooms for future cruises as you have people in your party. For instance, if you have a family of 5 on the cruise, you can book up to 5 staterooms for future cruises! This is great if you'd like to organize a family reunion cruise, or get a great deal for family and friends." However, the catch is that she would not be travelling with us. Is it possible to do this or does her name need to be listed as a passenger? If she lists herself as passenger - can we change the name on a reservation later (e.g. change it to my name)? Also, does anyone know what the current onboard booking discount is? She told me that her last cruise they were offering a 25% discount. Thank you in advance for all your help. I appreciate the words of wisdom from experienced cruisers. |

| The person booking onboard must be booking for themselves and people who will be treaveling with them. You cannot change the name of the lead guest for a booking made onboard. ![]()
