| Palo Tipping We added the prepaid gratuities to our package for convenience sake, since this is our first cruise and we are bundling it with a land stay it just made sense. However, we do have reservations at Palo for our final night and I'm not clear if we are to tip our Palo servers seperately and by how much? Thanks all!! Only 1 1/2 weeks left!!!!!!!!

| You should tip your Palo servers separately. While technically the service charge you pay to dine at Palo is at least partially intended to cover your servers gratuities, I think you will find that the food and service you receive is more indicative of a fine dining meal that would cost well over $100. We usually tip an additional $20 or $25.

| Is the tip that you suggest for dinner and per person? What would you recommend for brunch or tea?

| You will be given a "check" to sign at the end of your meal. You charge the service fee and any additional gratuity to your room.

| I don't think you can leave cash, as it's a cashless system. It gets charged to your room account . We've usually left between $20 and $25 as well!

| While any REQUIRED charges (the automatic service fee plus drink charges, etc.) must be charged to your room account, you are perfectly free to leave a cash tip if desired. This is also true of the end-of-cruise tipping. Even if you pre-pay gratuities and receive tip stubs to distribute with the recommended amounts, you can easily supplement this with a cash tip for excellent service. They appreciate it! |

| There's nothing wrong with leaving cash, although most folks seem to charge to their room. I'd imagine most servers don't mind a mixture of cash and room charges. Room charges, of course, go into the CMs onboard bank account, while cash will more likely be spent in port. Each will have its benefits/drawbacks, depending on the individual's goals and preferences.
