5K on Castaway Cay

Has anyone done this? I have read that they offer a run early in the morning of your castaway key. Does anyone have any more info?

I've heard it is a great way to enjoy an uncrowded view of the island. Someone had some pictures of the route online - maybe you could find it by Google Images?

I am personally curious if 5K walkers are equally accepted. We sometimes run 5ks but Castaway Cay is day 9 of our 11 day vacation so I doubt we will be in any shape to run anywhere .

Very layed back. The only thing is that if it is hot, you will feel it, especially when the trail takes you to the airstrip, so drink water. Run or walk, your choice.

They just did the CC 5K on my Cruise they met at 8am at the Gangway on CC Day and they were off about 8:30ish I believe. They ran and and were done I want to say before 10am!

I wasn't a runner/walker etc but knew a couple of people who ran it, unfortunately they weren't in my dining rotation so we only ran into each other a few times and too busy to discuss it!
