Ok so I booked my Palo ressies this weekend. So am I right in saying that I don't have to do the mad rush on board to confirm anything? We also booked our excursion, do I need to do anything else with that once we get on board?

You should be all set!! Any excursions will be charged to your credit card once you are on the ship. That shocked me the first time we did a 7 day cruise all the excursions were charged at once on the first day. (It was our first cruise)
Did you check to see if there was a Palo bunch? I'm looking forward to booking one for our cruise.
The only thing you need to confirm or schedule would be the kids club or nursery. Or if you didn't book any spa ressies and want to do so on the ship. other than that, it sounds like you're good to go!
That's it - unless you want spa reservations.
So you can just enjoy the experience!
I recommend heading to Parrot Cay for lunch (rather than Topsiders). We always like to start with that as our way to kick off the cruise.

Your excursion tickets should be in your stateroom when you arrive -- no confirmation is necessary, unless you don't see them.
So, if you're happy with the reservations you've made, there's no need to rush once onboard. The Navigator you receive the first day may note special events (such as a galley tour, wine tasting, or Tea with Wendy) that require free tickets from Guest Services. These do sometimes fill up, so if you're interested you should get tickets within a few hours of boarding, but you don't need to go right away unless you really have your heart set on something.
