Dream and Fantasy???

When I look at cruises for 2012 on the dream there doesn't seem to be any 3 night cruises. Is this something that the Fantasy will be sailing? For some reason I thought that the Fantasy would be sailing the longer cruises and the Dream would be doing the shorter ones.

Can someone please clarify??

Thanks for the info!

My understanding is that the Dream will do three and four nights and the Fantasy will do seven nights, but I may be wrong...

In 2012 the Dream will be sailing 3, 4, and 5 night Bahamian itineraries and the Fantasy will be sailing 7 night East/West Caribbean itineraries. The schedule is only out through August so far.

With the demand right now, I think that the Dream is concentrating mostly on 4 and 5 day trips, although it could also be that any available 3 day trips are sold out, so they don't come up as options when you search....

That's what I heard somewhere. I think Dave mentioned in another post that they wouldn't be doing "very many" 3 day cruises anymore. I think they will focus on 4 and 5 day ones with the Dream, and 7 day ones on Fantasy.

Thanks Everyone!!! From what Judi told me it looks like they won't be sailing 3 nighters in the summer. Oh well, we will just have to go on a longer one!!! We will TRY and survive through it!!!

The 3- vs. 5- night thing is very much a seasonal thing. I guess families find it easier to take longer vacation during the summer, so the 5-nighters are more practical then (and the Castaway Cay double-dips are very, very popular).
