Re categorized Stateroom question

Hello all :-)
We are booked on the Dream for a 4 night cruise to set sail on Dec 11th. I received a letter stating that they are re categorizing several staterooms on the Dream & Fantasty.....this is my 1st cruise....ever...... and I do not understand the different categories and what they mean, now I wonder is this a good thing, bad thing or neither I booked about 10 mos in advance and hope I have a good room.....originally I was Cat. 05E- Deluxe Oceanview w/ Verandah now we are Cat. 4E Deluxe Family Oceanview w/ Verandah ? Can anyone enlighten me ?
Thanks
Donna

Donna,
Congrats! You are getting a better category 4E for a lesser category 5E price! Enjoy!

As the number of the category lowers, the "better" the category. So a 4 would be better than an 8.

The verandahs of the 5E's were very large, as I understand and therefore were recategorized as 4E's.

Have a Dreamy cruise!
