Magens is on St. Thomas, Trunk is on St. John. Both are very nice beaches, it's really a matter of whether you want to visit St. John. (I'd recommend St. John, thanks to its quiet, remote character and Virgin Islands National Park). If you do choose Trunk Bay, I'd suggest an excursion that includes an island tour.

Disney doesn't seem to offer an excursion that includes both beach time at Trunk Bay and also an island tour which is what I would really like to do. Do you have any suggestions for a private tour company? Is there enough time to do both? Thanks for your help
