Holiday decorations

When do they start to put up the Christmas decorations? I saw a you tube video of a Nov trip and it seemed the ship was decorated.

Decorations start to go up in November. Most eveything is complete by Thanksgiving. You will even see decorations on Castaway Cay. The gingerbread house takes the longest. I have been on some early December sailings and it was not completed.

Seeing the ships, port and Castaway Cay decorated for the holidays is one of my favorite things!

We have only been on one cruise late last November, where is the gingerbread house? There is so much to see and do, I guess it is easy to miss things!

On the Magic and Wonder it's on deck 3, by the small staircase that goes up to Shutters (between Lumiere's/Triton's and the Promenade Lounge). I haven't cruised the Dream or Fantasy at holiday time (yet), so someone else will have to chime in.

Thanks Dave! I know what you are talking about now, I misunderstood, I thought there was one on Castaway Cay that I missed. I think it is on Deck 3 or 4 on the Dream, I remember seeing it now, just not exactly where it was. Guess I will have to go again to make sure!

This thread made me realize that the Wonder should be all decked out for the EB Panama Canal cruise in Dec, should be quite pretty.
