Wonder cabin choice deck 8

Choosing between 8518, 8536, 8580. For a western next march. Thanks for the help!

Welcome, RingetteFam!

I don't think any of them are bad at all. I like being close to an elevator lobby, so 8518 and 8536 have a small edge over 8580.

To choose between 8518 and 8536... If you're traveling with kids, 8536's position near the midship elevator will get you closer to the pools and other deck 9 features aft (beverage station, fast food, buffet), and the kids clubs on deck 5. 8518's position near the forward elevators makes access to the theaters and adults-only areas of the ship easy.

Thanks Dave,
8580 is right by the aft elevators I think, and close to the beverage station for diet coke runs for my wife. In the passporter it says to avoid 8536 due to noise from the pool and stage above, but being in the mid we are closer to everything and in the most stable area if seas got a little rough? Ah decisions. I'm a light sleeper so I'm most concerned with noise.

You may find the aft elevators to be the best choice, then. Overall, the aft elevator tends to be my favorite, as it gives us the most direct access to food and drink. On an adults-only cruise I might lean towards the forward elevator, for access to the adults-only areas.

The Wonder is small enough that you won't feel you're in a bad spot whether you are aft or forward, it's a quick walk to wherever you want to go so don't stress over it too much!
I've never had noise in a room until our cruise to Hawaii. I felt like I was living the Gilligans Island theme song and we were "the Minnow". That is the only time i've had noise in the stateroom. Some friends had a spare pair of ear plugs and they were a lifesaver. You might want to consider bringing those just to help you sleep if you're a light sleeper. Even if a room isn't noisy it probably makes different noises than your house which might disturb you if you're a light sleeper.
