Towels on Excursions

If I've booked my excursion through Disney, will we get a towel on our way off the ship or should we pack our own beach towels (or buy them on the ship?)?

You'll be able to take towels as you leave the ship. While the towels are not beach-size, at least if you use DCL's towels, they'll do the laundry.

We have found that towels are available at the meeting location for the excursion and you can grab what you need. We have also gone up to the pool deck to get towels out of the cupboard just in case there weren't any at the meeting location for the excursion.

What's also great is that there are usually dirty/wet towel containers to deposit the towels typically before you board the ship. In Grand Cayman the dirty/wet towel bins were shore side before tendering back to the ship. No need to carry the towels back on the ship and to your stateroom. . . DCL will collect them for you before you board!

I like anybody who does the laundry.

Towels in Atlantis Resort

We took towels with us from the ship when we went to our excusion in Atlantis and found that they provided towels as well.

Mental Note to Myself: Towels not need when going to Atlantis
