Does anyone know if DCL is discontinuing cruises out of New York? We want to plan a Canada cruise from New York and I see it in 2012 itineraries but not for 2013. We just had an amazing vacation on Disney Dream in June and would like to cruise Disney again. Thanks for any information you may have.

I don't believe that DCL will be cruising out of New York in 2013 as the Magic (which is what is sailing from there this summer) will be heading back down to Galveston, TX for Western Caribbean cruises through the winter and then repositioning to Barcelona in May 2013 for Med cruises through Summer 2013.
After that, the ship returns to sail Bahamian cruises out of Miami.
thanks! we will keep our fingers crossed they come back to NYC. (being from PA, it's a much shorter drive) and my family wants to go north the next cruise, although I will miss Castaway Cay

No telling what they'll do in 2014. I'm hoping they'll alternate between NY and Europe for a while, but there have been no hints that that is what they'll do.
I'm sure the tourism folks in NYC, Halifax, and Saint John are hoping DCL returns. They all put a lot of effort into getting DCL there in the first place.

I'd like to see DCL go out of New York again too. It's only about a 5 hour drive for us (as opposed to flying or driving to FL). Even better would be out of Baltimore, but I doubt that will happen.
