Trip insurance?

1.) Do most of you use Disney vacation insurance, or do you use another company? And why? Is there anything major that is not covered through Disney's that would cause you to get insurance elsewhere?

2.) If I am arriving 1 day ahead of my cruise to visit Kennedy Space Center, will that day of travel be covered by Disney?

Your Disney Cruise Line insurance will cover your cruise. Any other travel before or after would not be covered. You may wish to purchase from another company that will cover your entire trip such as Travel Insurance | Allianz Travel Insurance or compare insurance at Travel Insurance - InsureMyTrip.com.

I used the company that AAA uses. It was really cheap and they covered the whole trip not just the cruise portion.

I use Travel Insurance | Allianz Travel Insurance. It is cheaper and includes my entire vacation (air-fare, pre cruise hotel, and the cruise itself). My travel agent did all of the leg work for me but it is very affordable!
