Question Onboard booking with Costco as TA?

Has anyone done so successfully?
Do you have to name Costco as your TA when booking in order to get this benefit? Meaning once I leave the ship, it's no longer an option.
Were you able to get the Costco cash card once travel was completed? Did you have to use AMEX (like at the warehouses) to pay the deposit and balance or could another card -- like a Disney Visa -- be used?

Lots of Qs so TIA to anyone who can help!

Your best bet is to check with your local Costco agent to get the specifics.

I'll do that, thanks. Was also hoping to find out if it ended up being a "good experience." Does it end up being more trouble than it's worth? After my last TA try, which wasn't so great, I've been planning it all myself.

Since your last experience with a TA wasn't so good, meet with the TA before using them on your booking. You should be able to get a feel for what they are like, and how it will be working with them.
