I don't know law but I would think from a legal standpoint, Disney (or any other cruise line) can't get involved otherwise they could end up with some sort of lawsuit on their hands. No one (or company) is going to purposely put themselves in that kind of position. And IMO that's exactly what Disney would end up doing if they tried to tell people to avoid those businesses. All they can really do is what they already are - say they don't promote or support it.
And to make it harder for Disney... they would be dealing with any lawsuit in the courts of the country where the port is.
I saw those cubs on our Fantasy cruise in November and thought there was something fishy about it. It just didn't seem to be a reputable charity. Also, they had the cubs in baby cribs when they weren't being photographed. It was hot and the Cubs did not seem happy. Margaret wanted a picture but I told her that it seemed to be a scam. Thank you for looking this up on the Internet and verifying my thoughts about the "charity".
