Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! That's awesome!!!! What ship are you going on? I've been on the Sovereign of the Seas (back in 1990) and loved it. I know that ship does the shorter cruises now. Have a fabulous time!

Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! Thanks Sara! Sovereign of the Seas is the one we are going on! Haven't had a chance to do very much research on the ship. Is it close to Disney as far as the services go? I hope this weekend to go on their site and research it a bit more! Tim

Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! Tim, I've sailed RCCL seven times, three of which were on the Sovereign. Haven't been on Disney yet, s I can't *really* make comparisions, but... I love RCCL! I made hubby take us on Sovereign for our honeymoon. The nice thing about Sovereign in itself is its size. Yes, the new giant ships have rock climbing walls and all, but on Sovereign you won't get lost. I never felt overwhelmed by the ship. And the food and service are GREAT! Best of the cruise lines we've been on (RCCL, Carnival & the Big Red Boat). There's lots of fun stuff to do, too. You won't be disappointed. Now, in five weeks, I'll let you know if DCL is better or on par!

Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! Tim RCCL is a great Line. Sis and I sail with them a year after our 1st Disney Crusie and loved it.I won $175.00 in the casnio. We had a difacult preson at our dinner talbe the the Servers were great and tryed had to work with the chef to please him. He was a vegatireain and booked the crusie so fast he forgot to tell them so they could have a menu for him. But a wonderful job was done. I give RCCL two thumbs up. Have a great time!

Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! Woo hoo! Way to go Tim! I was on the RCCL way back in the day - two times actually - once when I met my first boyfriend (I was 14), and then we reunited on the same ship (The Song of Norway) the next year. I remember that the food was awesome and we had a great time. Let us know all about it when you return!

Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! Tim and Joanne, I know you two will have a great time. Cruising is great. I have just been on one, Holland America Alaskan cruise and land tour combined it was great. I guess I am a kid at heart but the thing that I really got a kick out of was making my own orange juice. You just put the oranges down the slot of the machine, it was like a little slide, and put your glass under it and got fresh orange juice. I hope that you are not too cold in New York state or snowed under. You could send some of it to us in Colorado. We have had it in the mountains but Colorado Springs is really dry. We had a trace of snow this month was all. Have a great cruise. Are the boys going with you? Travlin Gal, Colorado Jan

Re: From 0 to 3 in 43 years!!! Tim and Joanne, have a wonderful cruise! You'll love Sovereign of the Seas. It's a wonderful ship, and RCCL (now known as RCI) is a great line. It'll be a nice warm-up to the two Disney cruises you have coming up. I'm jealous! Enjoy!
