| Concierge level I can't find much information about concierge level cruising. We have a catagory 3 room and wondered what this really means?? Can we book all of our on board reservations ( palos, vista spa , excursions etc..) with concierge and be guaranteed a reservation ? What else does it offer? |

| Re: Concierge level While they call it "concierge service" there's not an assigned concierge staff, concierge desk or concierge lounge as such. Your regular stateroom host/hostess will attend to some requests, room service will handle others, etc. As described in Brad's trip report, you'll find personalized stationery in your stateroom, you'll find fruit baskets and other snacks in the room periodically, and you can get complimentary bottled water and soft drinks in your stateroom. You can also order a full breakfast or full dinner in your stateroom from any dining room on board (regular guests have far more limited room service selections). When it comes to diningroom table assignments, you won't be separated from non-concierge guests. Soon after you board you'll be invited to a special meet and greet with cruise staff so you can make Palo, Vista Spa and kids club reservations, make dining requests, etc. You can book in-stateroom massages if you'd like, too. They don't "guarantee" you'll get the reservations you want, but your status gives you a big edge over everyone else, as space is reserved in bulk for concierge guests. Shore excursion reservations are still limited to the physical capacity of the excursion, so you should reserve excursions you really want in advance - they're not going to cancel another guests reservation to make room for a concierge guest. |

| Re: Concierge level While Dave is partially correct in that there is not a concierge lounge, there ARE dedicated concierge staff (a "primary" and an assistant for each Cat 1-2-3 stateroom). You will meet them personally several times during your cruise, they will come to your room to drop off various goodies and introduce themselves, they will call you to remind you of any daily tours and events that you ahve registered for, and they will be available via telephone to assist you with anything you might need.
