Sea/Land vs. 7 day Sea only? We haven't even been to WDW yet (we leave this Friday!!) and I am already planning our return trip. We have cruised in the past and loved it! I've been watching the travel channel lately and they have featured the disney cruises. Please tell me, what do you prefer and why. Would you rather do the 7 day cruise only? Or Is it better to do the Land/Sea combo deal?? They both look great to me, but I think I lean toward the 7 day, just because it looks like you get to experience more of the cruise atmosphere. Thanks for your help! When we get back from the world, I want to start planning our first disney cruise!

Re: Sea/Land vs. 7 day Sea only? I've only done the land/sea combo, but my opinion is that I don't think I could travel all the way to Florida and not stop by Mickey's house for at least a day or two or three. Friends of ours are doing just the 7-day cruise (no WDW) in Feb 2004, so I will let you know what they think. Sue

Re: Sea/Land vs. 7 day Sea only? Having done all 3-, 4- and 7-night itineraries, I'd have to say, if you love cruising, take the 7 and visit WDW another time. The Land/Sea combo is a tough compromise - too little time cruising, too little time at WDW. If you must compromise, it may depend upon how passionate you are about WDW. After all the times I've visited WDW I can plan a very happy three-night visit to WDW, hitting only things that delight me. I know I'll be back soon, regardless. But if I felt I must visit every park and ride every ride, then four nights is a bare minimum. I think an eight-night Land/Sea combo would be a better choice than a seven-night, regardless of how you split things up.
