Info on room 7009, Wonder? and has anyone done the stingray excursion? Hi all! We're taking a land and sea in October and have been booked into stateroom 7009. Anyone know anything about it? All I know is it's location on the ship and that it's a cat 11 in a group of cat 10's. Also, my soon-to-be 10 year old daughter is really interested in the Stingray city excursion in Nassau. It's still too new to be in the Passporter , so wondering if anyone has experienced it yet. Thanks!

Re: Info on room 7009, Wonder? and has anyone done the stingray excursion? I don't know about that particular stateroom, but I do know Stingray City. I did it this past August. The Stingray City excursion is AWESOME and probably the most memorable part of my last cruise! They take you in a boat waaaay out in the ocean to a sandbar thats about chest high. You get life jackets, snorkels, fins and just hop in the water. When your boat is heading to the sandbar, you can see the stingrays following it! The water is CRYSTAL CLEAR w/white sand. The stingrays swim around you and are alot of fun- make sure you take a waterproof camera. The tour guides will pick up the rays and let you pet them and look at them up close- I even held one! The guides even have names for certain stingrays- the same rays have been swimming there for 10 years. Its a really incredible experience! -Stephanie

Re: Info on room 7009, Wonder? and has anyone done the stingray excursion? I booked it thru Disney- if you book it w/Disney then at least you know the ship won't leave without you in case something happened.

Re: Info on room 7009, Wonder? and has anyone done the stingray excursion? Thanks for asking about the stingrays! We were wondering the same thing and I think we are going for that instead of the dolphin excursion. We are also cruising in Oct. Ours leaves Oct 31. When are you going?

Re: Info on room 7009, Wonder? and has anyone done the stingray excursion? We hit the parks on the 21rst for 3 nights and get on the shp the 24th for 4 nights. Thanks for the info on Sting Ray city! My daughter really wanted to do the dolphin encounter, but it seemed pretty pricey for not swimming with them. The stingrays were her second choice, and one I think we can afford! Have fun on your trips!
