| Re: Costa Maya There's not much to see there. The pier has plenty of shopping but the nearest town is a sleepy fishing village. You can take an excursion to see some nice ruins, there's the usual sail & snorkel and beach excursions. |

| Re: Costa Maya I LOVED Costa Maya. Great beach. Very clean. Mayan ruins (I heard) were terrific. We went snorkeling and had a blast. While you can get shore excursions on the ship, there are plenty of locals to take you where you want to go too. We went with the locals on our snorkeling tour and would do it again in a heartbeat. The restaurants there had good food. Shopkeepers were quick to bargain if you had cash! We relaxed in hammocks for the afternoon....ahhhhhh |
