Can we decorate our verandah? I plan on decorating our doors (will have 3 doors and one verandah). I'd love to sit out at night on the verandah, sipping an adult frosty beverage, with my pink flamingo lights (battery powered) lighting my little hideaway. Are there rules about this? What about an inflatable palm tree? I could hold it down with duct tape while I'm out there and deflate it when we come in for the night.

Do I sound like I need a vacation?

Cool idea.
I don't know of any rules about this one way or the other but I wouldn't think that it would be a problem as long as safety was always the first concern. Battery powered lights would be festive

I guess my only concern would be that 20 + mph wind.

That's why I'm thinking duct tape or only when we aren't moving, or I can dismantle and bring it in when it's too windy.

Joan I wouldn't take a chance. Call DCL's 800 number and find out. Hate to waste the space with lights, tape, etc only to find out I couldn't do it. That space would hold a few pounds of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee!!
