If I am right, deck 1 is the upper most part of the ship. If this is right, the only thing you might experience is a little more swaying.
I've never sailed Disney before, but have taken other cruises. My last one we were up top and I'll never forget the rocking motion. The walls creaked, not in a bad way, but enough to interupt my sleep all night long. I've learned my lesson and now bring ear plugs with me!

On Disney ships deck 1 is the bottom deck. You may notice some noise while docking.

I once stayed on the lowest deck with another cruise line. I heard a litle noise ... but nothing too jarring or bizarre. It was actually a nice way to wake up!

Yeah, I was just on their site and notice I was wrong about the where the decks are located. BUT, I have stayed on the bottom level too (not Disney). It was really neat because we had a little port window that seemed almost water level. Mind you, I was young, so my memory might be a bit skewed, but I remember docking and watching the men work. They waved at us. When your little, it was a huge kick!

Hey, you'll have a larger room, split bathroom and a porthole for the price of a cat. 12 "cave." What can be bad?
There are two drawbacks to cat 9 on deck 1. First is that you get two small portholes instead of a large, round picture window (deck 2 and above for the bigger windows). Second is that the hallways on that deck don't go all the way fore and aft - you only have access to the forward and mid elevators. This isn't too bad most of the time - if you're aft on some other deck you just have to remember to walk to midships before you take an elevator down to 1. But if you're at a port of call where they're using the deck one aft lobby for disembarkation/boarding (which is common), you have to go up a deck, walk aft, then go down again.
As to noise, it's generally fine except when you're in port, but folks on deck 2 are also are exposed to similar noise in port.
A small plus is that the lower you are on the ship, the less you'll feel the ship's side-to-side rolling, although with the ship's stabilizers, that's rarely a big concern.
