Disembarktion help

Does anyone know if Southwest airlines has a desk at port canaveral. I would like to check my bags when I get off the ship if possible. Also, since I am traveling with 4 adults and 2 young children should one of us get the shuttle to Budget and then come back for the rest or should we all go together? Thanks for any help you have.

Re: Disembarktion help

When we sailed last November, Southwest was not at the port. We also put the whole family into the shuttle to head to budget ... actually we were travelling w/another family so there were 8 of us and our luggage in the shuttle.

Re: Disembarktion help

I personally would rather do the single person trip. It will take more time, admittedly, but it will save the hassle of shuttling the luggage back and forth.

OTOH, if the weather is unpleasant, everybody won't be waiting outside for you to get back with the car, although you'll all have to wait for a shuttle with room for all and then everybody will have to wait out in the rain/cold/heat while you stand in line instead to get a car. So I guess it's a wash. WOW, what a run on sentence that was!

Southwest does not have a desk at the port - you will have to take your luggage to the airport and check it directly with them.
