My boyfriend Darrel is convinced there is a Disney Cruise to Alaska once a year. I thought that was funny considering both Cruise ships port-of-call are in Florida (although I know one of them traveled to California once this year for the 50th celebration). There aren't any Disney Cruises to Alaska are there???
I thought it was funny when he looked at me and said, “Now you can’t admit you might be wrong about this?”
I said, “Not when it comes to Disney!” Now won’t I look silly if I am wrong…but I know I am not.
Alaska cruises leave out of either Seattle or Vancouver BC. I live in the Seattle area and can attest to the fact that there has never been a Disney ship anywhere near here. Altough the Wonder and Magic are outfitted with de-icers on the bridge windows, so its possible it could happen in the future but I doubt it since there's not even any word on a third ship yet.
There is a cruise via Holland America to Alaska. But it is offered through Disney Vacation Club and you use your points. My DH and I went on it last July and it was amazing.
Maybe this is what he was thinking of.
I'd certainly go! DH wants to wait until they do offer one. He doesn't want to mess around with one of those other cruise lines! Yes, I've trained him well!
DCL is going to need at least one more ship, probably two. One for Alaska/5-4-5 Mexico cruises and one for 7 night Mexico cruises. Plus the two Caribbean cruises.
