| New and Needs Suggestions for passes for hotel-cruise-hotel We are going to stay on site 2 nights - then cruise 4 nights - then stay on site 3 nights. It must be that way to work around school schedules for Easter break. The best thing I can come up with is to buy my park passes with the 1st hotel reservation, then reserve a room only for the last part of the trip. So, my questions are: 1) during the second reservation, will we have 2 printed "keys" to get into EMH? 2) Is there anyway to add the dining package to this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions

| Hi, Elissa & Welcome It would be less expensive per-day to purhcase all your park days on your first reservation, then during your second reservation, you'll use the first card keys for park passes & have separate card keys for your room. You should be able to add the dining plan to either or both stays, but I'm not certain. Enjoy your trip - I'm jealous |

Multi day passes expire 14 days after first use, so you can combine the park days on one. Hopefully DTC can put it all on the first reservation ![]()

| cruise and dining plan info Hi and welcome to the boards! I'm actually new too, but I think I may have information for you. I booked a land-sea vacation in January '08 and I added one extra pre-cruise night. So I'm arriving Saturday, but the land-sea package doesn't actually start until Sunday. To begin, yes you can add the dining plan to a land-sea vacation, but I was very disappointed to learn that I couldn't add the dining plan to my reservation because I added the extra pre-cruise night. I talked to a cruise line operator and then complained until she let me talk to a supervisor, but they wouldn't budge. There is absolutely no way to book the dining plan with pre- or post-cruise nights. The operator did tell me that I can cancel the Saturday night (pre-cruise night) reservation and book it separately on my own, but then I'm stuck buying an extra day of park tickets for everyone in our party in order to get the meal plan. That doesn't make sense since the 1-day ticket is so expensive. So I'm not sure if you'll be able to add the dining plan to either part of your land stay since the first 2 nights are added on. Please reply and let me know what you find out...I'm still curious. Also, keep in the mind that the dining plan doesn't include tips or appetizers (for table service meals) anymore. In the end, I decided it wasn't worth the cost - I don't think it's as good of a deal anymore. Good luck!! |
