| birthday celebration I am taking my daughter to DW for her birthday. We can't go on her exact birthday it will be a little more than a month later. But the trip is her birthday celebration. Does anyone know if it would be considered bad ettiquette to request a birthday button at the parks and let resturants, etc. know that this trip is for her birthday. (to make it a little more special for her)? I have read elsewhere that this is acceptable and I asked the travel agent everyone seems to think it is okay. I just need more opionionsThank you, Sandi |

| From what I have seen here before, it is OK to do that. As far as I know they don't ask for proof, or anything. When we go, it will be just a few days after my son's b-day, so we will get him the birthday treatment.

| A lot of people do it. As long as you're comfortable with it, it's ok.

| I think that is ok. The CM who gave me my pin said I could wear it every day if I wanted to, and he said that as long as my birthday was within the month they were ok with it!

Make sure she wears the birthday button every day! She will get lots of extra attention (not to mention a free dessert once in a while).

| From what I understand you can get a b-day pin at any of the parks at their customer relations desk. I have also read that at MK you get it in town hall. I figured I would ask at the hotel. Telling the hotel (DW resort) and resturants that you are celebrating a birthday seems to be a good idea also (according to other message boards). The housekeepers supposedly try to help make it special, but once again we've never done the bday thing so I'm not sure. I guess it is worth trying it sure can't hurt. I hope you have a great time. |
