Hi! I am new here. I am counting down to my first ever DW trip this Christmas.
I know, I know it's the busiest time- but my birthday is over the holidays and it truly is magical so I figured why not?
I have a question: what is the most magical way to spend Christmas dinner and the evening that does not include one of the high priced "special Holiday" dinners?
You could try a character meal like Chef Mickey's or with the Princesses @ Akershaus. I'm pretty sure on major holidays you'll pay a holiday surcharge-there's just no getting around it unfortunately.
We'll be at the parks then too! Looks like there are holiday surcharges at most of the sitdown restaurants. We've booked a late lunch at the Liberty Tree in on Christmas Eve and that will be our dinner celebration. Christmas day we are just going to wing it as the parks will all be a madhouse. But we are certainly up for the task.
Hope you enjoy your birthday!
Welcome to the Boards!!! Make sure to stop by Guest Relations and pick up your button so all the CMs know that it's your first time and can welcome you to the park!! I hope to see you at the parks soon! As for a good eat on Christmas, I can't answer that right now, but probably soon I can. However, most of the people on here have GREAT suggestions!!!
Hello! Welcome to the boards! I haven't been there on Xmas, so I really haven't got any tips to give you, but have you check ed all of the resort restaurants? I would guess that some of the table service meals with a buffet would not have a surcharge, but... I guess they have to give the wait staff a bonus somehow.
