| Only 4 days left.......... I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. We only have 4 days left until we leave for the happiest place on earth. I can hardly contain myself. I think I am more excited about surprising our 8 yr old than actually going - if that's possible. He has no idea and it has been so much fun keeping the secret. We had a hard time deciding if we should tell him, but finally came to the decision of keeping it a secret. We are going to pick him up from school with the car packed and ready. Even his teachers are in on the surprise - they are going to "sneak" me the classwork he will be missing. Oh how much fun. Now I just have to figure out how to secretly pack our suitcases. | That is so awesome. I don't know if I could have kept that secret. Whenever we go on a trip, especially Disney, Im worse than the kids are. I get so excited. I commend you to have been able to keep that secret. He will be blown away Im sure. I would love to see his face when he realizes what is happening. | Thanks everyone. My DS was upset yest am because he didn't qualify for the $100 gift card for participating in the school fundraiser (he didn't sell 150 items). You Mom's of school age kids know exactly what I'm talking about. So I told him if he could wait until Mon, we would give him something better than any of those cheap items in the fundraiser brochure. Well, he thinks we are going to Target to get Bakugan toys. He keeps saying, "I can't wait until Monday." If he only knew............  |
