I booked my vacation through AAA. The problem is I'm flying in to Orlando the day before I can check in at Port Orleans. I am staying at a hotel near the airport with a free shuttle. After spending one night, the shuttle will take me back to the airport the next day. But AAA reserved my Magical Express time for 1:08 pm in conjunction with another flight (I know the Magical Express people will take your bags out of the baggage claims area and load them up for you.) I wanted to get to Port Orleans as early as possible (even though I can't check in until the afternoon, I can at least drop my luggage off and enjoy as full a day as possible at the parks). Does anyone have any suggestions?
You can go to Magical express and get the bus as early as possible to Port Orleans, check in and they will give you your tickets if you have a package or go to the concierge and purchase your park ticket plan so that they can put them on your key to the world card and then go to bell services to drop off your bags and they will deliver them to your room once you get back and into your room to call them. Enjoy the day and evening until you are ready to stay in your room for the 30 min. or so that it will take to get your bags to you from bell services.
Hope this helps - I love this aspect of staying in the world!!!
Dworldluver summed it up as best as possible. In a moderate or value resorts, getting your bags delivered once you call from your room can take about thirty minutes. Sometimes more, depending on how busy bell services is delivering other bags.
