| NEW MEMBER, BUT LONGTIME DISNEY FAN! Hi! I am a new member, but I have been in love with WDW ever since I was 21 celebrating my first visit to WDW in 1997 for my first wedding anniversary. Since then, I have visited WDW seven more times. The first three times we stayed off park in Kissimee, but discovered the joy of the WDW resorts in 2005 when we took our 2 year old daughter for the first time. Now, my almost 7 year old and I are planning our first "solo" trip in October - meaning Dad decided to go on a fishing trip instead! My daughter (who incidently is named Ariel -sound familiar?) and I are really excited about this. Normally, I would feel a little nervous going on vacation without my husband, but Disney makes it SO easy. We took advantage of the Southwest Airlines Vacation promotion (which continues until Aug 6th - if anyone is interested). It was Buy One Get One Free airfare and Disney tickets. (You can't beat that!) Therefore, we will just fly into MCO, have the Magical Express pick us up and take us to POR. Then we will use the buses to go to the parks. I purchased the dining plan (which is such a great deal!) so our food is taken care of. Then when our trip is over, the Magical Express will take us back to the airport, and (sadly!) we will be on our way home again.
