| Carribean Beach vs. Wilderness Lodge Hello all, My husband, daughter (age 5), and myself are going to Disney World in mid-January. We are currently booked in a pirate room ( We have stayed at CB a couple of times before (liked it) but have never stayed at WL. My question..is it worth the upgrade and which will a 5yo girl appreciate more? I appreciate any and all advice. |

| Welcome to the boards!!!! My kids really enjoyed the CBR and insist we go back there each time. That being said, I don't see anything wrong with trying something new. WL is lovely and I'll bet your DD will love the ferry ride to the MK. Maybe you guys could even be picked to be Flag Family of the Day and help raise the flags over the hotel. It is quite an experience from all I have heard. Wishing you a magical trip. |

| Having never stayed at either, but having visited both, we are doing a split stay and staying at both. Your DD would love Whispering Canyon at WL. But other than that, I'm not sure a 5 yr old would care either way. They have some cool bunk bed rooms at WL though!!!!

| We have stayed at both. While WL is our favorite, CBR is a very nice moderate. Having seen pictures of the remodeled rooms and the new pool, I think your DD might enjoy CBR more.

| Welcome to the boards! We love both CBR and WL and I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Marnie mentioned a split stay - I think that's a great idea! The new pirate rooms and pirate pool are awesome at CBR both WL has a lot to offer and trying something new I think would be fun, too!
