We are going to WDW in Dec 2014 for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and our eldest son's 6th birthday. Our youngest son will be 3 and a half.
Our friends and family think we're mad and that the boys will be too young, but we don't! We did the adults only version of this holiday in December 2007 before we had kids and had already started planning this one way back then.
Disney is addictive!
We are so looking forward to it even though it seems to be so far away.

to the Boards!!!!! We are taking our DGD who will be six and our DGS who will be 9 mons. We planned the trip before we knew our DGS was coming. So, he may not realize to much at 9 mons, but we will get him to love Disney as much as we do very early!!!
Welcome to the boards and congrats on the trip! I don't think your kids will be too young, actually I think they are at a perfect age for Disney. On our first family trip my DDs were 3 and 5, and they had a wonderful time. They're still at the age where they really believe all of the characters are real, and you will have a wonderful time seeing the Disney magic through their eyes.
We are taking a 3 year old with us this year. There are a few that don't want us to take the 3 year old...it is mostly because a 9 year old is jelouise that he is not going. My nephews were about 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 when they first went to WDW. Take them they will enjoy it.
You have alot of time to plan and save for the trip. Get that change jar going for the kids to do pressed pennies/quarters. Have fun planning your trip!!!

We started taking the kids when DD was 4 and DS was 15 months! You're never too young!
