41 yr old SAHM of two boys ages 15 and 13. Hubby is a Correctional Officer at the local prison as well as in the National Guard. We have a 6 yr old Yorkie mix named Archie that we got at the shelter back in Oct. We live near Boston.
I signed up for both the Disneyland half marathon on Sept 2nd and the Disney World half marathon in Jan of 2013. Besides trying to lose weight/get healthier, I'm trying to find a way to get back to Disney World as the first and last time we were there was 2003 for our honeymoon, lol.
Hi and Welcome to the Boards Peggy. I am too from MA and I'm only about 25 minutes or so away from Boston. My Aunt use to be a Corrections Officer for one of the prisons close to me (I actually have 2 that are fairly close by) so your post caught my eye when I saw that about your hubby. Good luck on the upcoming marathons.
Darlene - we live in Whitman. Hubby works at the one in EB.
Ok - not near us then so your hubby wouldn't have known my aunt. She use to work for MCI Norfolk. As for where you live, when I worked at a bank, one of my co-workers lived in Whitman. I always remembered that because it made me think of chocolate (Whitman's samplers).
